New Routes, new Date, New QSR Registration opens November 17

2026 REGISTRATION OPENS IN 4 DAYS, AS WE INTRODUCE NEW ROUTES, A NEW WEEKEND, AND NEW QSR OPTIONS

As we move through this weekend we're busy in the control room preparing a new model for Rebecca's Private Idaho that keeps the beloved QSR not only intact, but enhanced.

We're also excited to announce that this year's final day of racing will feature big changes to our famous Baked Potato route which simultaneously becomes our not-longest route as we introduce the all new Fully Loaded Potato at 118 miles with 7,750+ feet of elevation gain. Both of our longest routes will now feature a brand new 2,500' sustained climb up and over Corral Creek Summit. If you’re signed up for the Baked Potato you’ll be rewarded with an absolutely glorious 28 mile long descent back to Trail Creek Road while the Fully Loaded course lathers Copper Basin over the top.

Are you not entertained?

It's going to be tough, and it's going to take names, so we're going to get the event started a little earlier for those taking a swing for the fences. The Fully Loaded and Baked Potato will both start an hour earlier at 7:00 AM so you can make time cuts, and get yourself through this brand new adventure. It's important to us that as many people as possible get to experience this amazing new route.

Options for Everybody

Fully loaded and baked potatoes not your thing? That’s fine! We still have the 19 mile Tater Tot, and the 56 mile French Fry routes just as before, and you don’t have to start as early in the morning to get them done. All of our routes are available right on our home page. Check them out.

Juniors race FREE on Saturday & save 50% on QSR

That's right kids… Back again, and here to stay: Juniors don't pay. Any junior competitor wanting to dip their toe into RPI can race for FREE on Saturday, and receive discounted entry to all of our QSR offerings. We're coughing up a 50% discount for juniors wanting to tackle QSR, and if you ask nicely Rebecca will even write you a note to give your teacher. Juniors are people whose racing age is under 18 at the start of the year, in alignment with the USA Cycling age calendar.

The new date: September 9 - 12

As equally notable as our new course changes is the fact that we are moving RPI off of the busy Labor Day weekend in Sun Valley! This will change our race week schedule by shifting everything one day earlier. That's right -- Get yourself to Sun Valley on Tuesday for the kickoff to the week. Don't worry, you have Monday off anyway. It's kinda the same, but different, and introduces a whole host of benefits we hope you will appreciate, such as…

SAVE ON LODGING:
Hotel rates will be measurably lower in Ketchum and Sun Valley. In fact we've already got a group rate for you at our host hotel, Limelight Ketchum where everything kicks off on Tuesday afternoon. You can book today, and save!

LESS TRAFFIC:
‍We know traffic is an issue on the busier holiday weekend, and this will create a much improved travel experience for getting into, around and out of Sun Valley for RPI. As an added bonus, traffic over Trail Creek Summit will be substantially reduced as a result of moving our event one week later.

SPACE TO ROAM:
Quiet, picturesque, free camping is available just minutes from Sun Valley and Ketchum, and is one of the best ways to experience these incredible outdoors. With less competition for space, you're much more likely to grab that perfect spot near town and pitch a tent or park the van.

It all comes together in a way that lets us do a better job with less competition for this incredible region, and significantly reduces the stress of jockeying for position throughout a long, hard-earned week of travel, and competition.

QSR Is here to stay, and gets an UPGRADE

While the main event on Saturday stands alone as our biggest day of racing, those who want more more more will be happy to hear that we listened to what you wanted–we've not only retained QSR, we've given it some extra firepower, and extended the format to accommodate those of you looking to choose your own adventure. We now offer four distinctly different QSR distance options with the only difference being which course you select on the final day. That's right -- you can now race QSR without having to complete the Baked Potato, as you can now select from:

QSR Fully Loaded: 203 Total Miles • QSR Baked: 189 Total Miles • QSR Fried: 141 Total Miles • QSR Tatered: 104 Total Miles

Each of these four options corresponds to the course you select for the last day, and effectively creates four different stage race categories for each gender group, and our para-athletes.

Mix & Match

Not up for a full three days of racing but one or two feels just right? Well that’s why we have the mix and match option where you can pick one or more of any of our course options and sign up without any pressure to compete in the Queen Stage Race. When registering, simply select the days and courses that you intend to race, and leave the rest to us.

BE GOOD & PARTY

The Be Good Foundation’s fundraising party returns to Zenergy on September 10th from 6 - 8:30 PM. This is the purpose of people | purpose | place, our north star and guiding light since day 1. The Be Good Foundation is the beating heart of Rebecca’s Private Idaho, our chance to give back, and do meaningful things together in the middle of one of the most beautiful settings.

Zenergy’s outdoor venue features beautiful views of Bald Mountain from the heart of Ketchum, and provides a perfect setting to come together to enjoy artisan foods, art, and giving.

Tickets are available now for the Be Good Party.

Registration for RPI opens Monday, November 17th

Registration for the 2026 edition of Rebecca's Private Idaho opens on Monday, and we're offering lower early bird rates that will be good through Black Friday. So once registration opens you'll have just under 2 weeks to commit, and save. Combined with reduced lodging rates as a result of our date change, RPI is going to be a brand new experience at a bargain compared to what it was.

You can save even more when you bring a group of friends together to experience Idaho’s biggest gravel race by taking advantage of our group buy program which also changes after Black Friday.

So get signed up either by yourself or with your friends, and book with one of our hotel partners using our group discount codes which you can find on our lodging page. We can't wait to share the brand new RPI next September.

Sincerely,
Rebecca, the entire cast and crew of Be Good Foundation and the production team at Bike Monkey.
