Rebecca’s Private Idaho
Yeah, we know it’s hard to get to. We know it’s far away from everywhere, but isn’t that what makes it special? We think so, and we think you’ll think so too. This event has been happening since 2013 and takes place on National Forest Land, including the Lost River Ranger District of the Salmon-Challis National Forest, Sawtooth National Recreation Area, and Ketchum Ranger Districts of the Sawtooth National Forest, all of which are ancestral lands of the Shoshone-Bannock Tribe. And if the place names alone are this alluring, imagine the places themselves.
Gravel Earth Series.
This year’s event enjoys the prestige of being one of North America’s Gravel Earth Series events. It connects to many others across the world as part of the biggest event series of all 8 (or 9) planets to orbit the Sun. Gravel Earth Series unites the world’s top gravel events, offering cyclists the chance to race through breathtaking landscapes while immersing themselves in local cultures. Each event goes beyond competition, delivering a unique experience that blends sport, nature, and community. California. Canada. Chile. Columbia. And those are just the ones that start with ‘C’.
Change. Is. Coming.
2025 is our last of a five-year event permit with the Forest Service, so there’s a good chance you’re going to see RPI in its current guise for the last time before we make adjustments and renew our vows for the next 5 years. So if you want to be able to pontificate with authority re which format was best, guess you’d better sign up this year. And next.
Group Buy Savings.
We know times are tough. But there’s a way to save significantly at RPI. Instead of traditional buck-shot advertising, we incentivize word-of-mouth with our Group Buy program. It’s good for you, and what’s good for you is good for us too. Everybody wins. It’s a veritable utopia. Who knew?
The process is simple: gather your friends, pre-purchase your tickets, and then complete the registration process. Bring 3+ friends and you can enjoy our tiered rate discounts from 10% to 20% off your registration.
The other thing we know about RPI in addition to its overall awesomeness is that it seems like a long time from now. “Labor Day Weekend?!? Heck, it’s still snowing/raining/cloudy/cold/muddy where I am…” We know. But Ketchum is small, lodging is tight, and when you blink, summer will be wrapping up. So go sneak up on that register button right now. You’ll thank your former self come July.
