Back from recon, and I have news.

Back from recon, and I have news.

Rebecca here, and I just returned from an epic bikepacking adventure with Alex and Meredith from Tactic Nutrition (bookmark that for some exciting news coming soon) scouting every mile of our brand new Fully Loaded Potato (118 miles) and the all-new Baked Potato (100 miles) routes. I can honestly say: you've never seen Idaho like this.

Let me set the scene: one minute you're flying down fast, smooth (at least for now) Trail Creek gravel, grinning ear to ear. The next, you're staring up at Burma Road climb, a 6-mile, 2,500-foot ascent to Corral Creek Summit. There's nothing fast about it, but trust me, you'll want to slow down. At 8,800 feet, you'll be gazing out over the Big Lost Mountain Range, and the only thing harder than the climb is resisting the urge to stop and take a hundred photos. (Spoiler: you won't resist.)

And then there's the weather. Idaho's mountains are full of surprises. On our recon ride, we got hail, rain, snow, and headwinds that made us question our life choices, all in a single day! But we also saw elk, pronghorn, and signs of moose (they're out there, if you're lucky). This is wild country, and these routes take you places most Idahoans have never seen.

I won't sugarcoat it: you'll probably curse my name somewhere on that climb. But you'll thank me at the finish, I promise. This is the kind of adventure that changes you. A ride you'll never forget, with stories you'll be telling for years.

So, are you ready to join us? Registration is open, and these new routes are calling your name. Whether you're a seasoned gravel crusher or chasing your first big adventure, there's a place for you at RPI. Bring your friends, bring your family, and come be part of something truly special.

Let's make memories together on the bike, in the mountains, and in the heart of Idaho.

See you at the start line,
Rebecca

P.S. Don't forget your camera. You'll need it.
