This is the weekend following Labor Day which means a few things: lower lodging rates, fewer people in the area, less traffic on Trail Creek, and race day is now Saturday!
Baked Potato| Twice Baked Potato
The Baked Potato Route will be modified to approximately 100 miles, feature more elevation, and explore an entirely new range, with views of Idaho's tallest range and mountain: Borah Peak.
The Twice Baked Potato route is all new, and will include all of the Baked Potato route plus additional roads from the former Baked Potato route. It's a mammoth 126 mile course.
With these changes we will introduce new, earlier start times to give people additional time to complete them.
With QSR on the way out, we'll be ushering in new Bonus Content that's less race-oriented, and more place-centric. What does that mean? It means we want you to purposefully enjoy your time here in Sun Valley and Ketchum, get to know the roads and trails in a setting where you can look up, instead of down, and find an appreciation that's sometimes lost when the clock is running.
We're going to do things together, and enjoy more of what makes central Idaho special. Trust us, it'll be good.
