Ketchum, ID

Regularly appearing on lists of “Best Mountain Towns,” Ketchum, like many other Western resort towns, transitioned from a 19th-century mining & sheep herding economy to one based largely on outdoor recreation and tourism. In the 30s it was discovered by Hollywood celebrities and became, for a time, one of their glittery playgrounds. As a result, you’ll find a casual, small-town feel with an historic background.

The high desert setting at a base elevation of nearly 6000’ amid a convergence of mountain ranges is ideal for year-round outdoor adventure, with riding that’s overwhelmingly fun, flowy, challenging and gorgeous. By Labor Day weekend, mornings and evenings are crisp while mid-day temps may reach into the 80°F range. In the mountains, it’s best to come prepared for anything!

Bike Shipping & Builds

Pack. Ship. Ride. It’s that simple with the BikeFlights / Sturtevant's dream team to take the hassle out of traveling with your bike. Use BikeFlights to ship your whip to one of our favorite local shops and Sturtevant’s will build it out so it's rider-ready when you roll into town.

After the event, drop your trusty steed off and they'll break it down, re-box, and ship it back to you. Participant is responsible for setting up and paying for shipping to and from the event. Bike builds can be purchased as part of your registration, or later on from our shop.
